Let me start by saying that I am a little bit OCD. I am one of those people who will address an envelope 5 times if the address looks crooked. I’ve always been like that. It has taken me a little bit of time to figure out this whole blog posting thing and now I think I’ve got it down packed. I will repost all of the weddings that I have taken down. I just want everything to look “perfect”… I know I’m wacky, but I’ve accepted it so let’s get on to the real matter at hand.
Meg and Jared tied the knot on March 21st, 2009 (I know it was 3 months ago… remember the OCD thing). I LOVE LOVE LOVE Meg. Her wedding was the perfect example of letting go and letting the pros do what they do. The flowers (Marc Gladden), the food, the dress (Kleinfelds, NYC), the shoes (Gucci platforms baby) were all amazing. The house, the church, the weather and the DJ… all perfect for their special day. Meg’s dress was by far the most beautiful I have ever seen: Dupioni silk, crumb catcher, mermaid… fit like a dream. Thank you Jimbo for convincing her to turn that cab around and “Say YES to the dress”.
Meg and Jared, thank you so much for trusting me with your legacy. It was an honor to meet your families and document this very special (and long overdue) day of your life! I love you both and am proud to call you my friends.

Lyndsay Wojcik… a sweet songstress from Asheville travelled in for the special occasion.

Barbara Graham was so gracious to offer her beautiful home to Meg and Jared!

Laura Griego… makeup artist to the stars!!

Megumi and her 3 “brides-men”… I LOVE this photo!!

This is by far one of my favorite photos from the day. The way Jared is tenderly helping her down the steps and the way her dress is moving… what a beautiful moment!

Traditional Japanese dances were performed by Meg’s family. They traveled all the way from Okinawa, Japan… I love this photograph!
