I wish there was a magic button I could just push and BAM.. blogs would be posted. If somebody would like to invent one.. I would be the first to purchase it.
That brings me to this post. A lot of photographers that I admire blog almost everyday.. sometimes with photos and sometimes without. Sooo, I will do my best to post photos as often as possible. However there are going to be times when I just need to express myself and it may not include a photo.
That being said.. I am totally in the weeds!! My father, a very spiritual man, and I had a conversation last winter. I distinctly remeber him saying, “Lynn I was praying for you and God showed me that you are going to have a lot of business this year.. at times it may even pile up around you.” Well he couldn’t have been more spot on!! After returning from a trip to NY, I shot 5 weddings in 9 days. I also shot a bridal portrait in Columbia and 3 beach sessions!! Gees!! I am up to my eyeballs in editing weddings and shoots. OK, it’s above my eyeballs. I guess it’s “growing pains”. I’m at a crossroads.. either grow and become a large studio.. or stay small and exclusive. I guess we shall see.
So I’m posting the following image because this is where it all started this year. Stephanie and Brad were married at Pawleys Island Community Church on February 28th. It’s the same church I was married in. Both of us had our receptions at Caledonia. And the weather was almost the same for both of us. And we both have this amazing woman to thank for the “magic” that is Caledonia. I am so grateful to the Beckham family for all they have done for me. I call them my adopted family. There is nothing I can ever do to repay them for all they have done for me. I will be sure to put up a full post of Stephanie’s wedding just as soon as I get that “auto Blog button” installed on my computer!
ENJOY!!
