I shot Alicia and Greg’s engagement session last night. It took them a few minutes to get warmed up, but once they did they were on fire. They are my first wedding booked for 2011 (aka better book now if you’re getting married in May :). I really enjoyed getting to know them better. Greg was a groomsman in a wedding I shot last April. For me, there is no greater compliment than when I get a referral from a previous wedding. So thank you Thomas and Amanda for introducing me to Greg via your wedding! So here is a quick peak at what we got last night. ENJOY!!

“Gurl, Ima need me my nitroglycerin tablets before this day is over!”, were Hope’s exact words to me on numerous occasions as she and Dean planned their wedding in less than 12 weeks. I was like, “Gurl Ima need ‘em too!” Dean and Hope had to travel to Vegas for business just two weeks before the wedding, thus the tan lines. The day after they got back we photographed the session. Tight for time I called my good friend Barbara Graham and asked her if we could use her GAWJUSS home for the session. Barbara graciously agreed. I can’t thank her enough for her generosity. Her home offered me so much inspiration. I could have spent hours and hours with Hope. Poor thing was exhausted and had jet lag. But you’d never guess based on the shots we got. What a stunner!!
I couldn’t wait to post these. Hope is a natural beauty, inside and out. I would like to think that after what we have been through together in the last 3 weeks that we will be friends for a long time! So without further ado… Hope Carroll! ENJOY!!
