Summer and Craig booked me to photograph their wedding at the Kingston Plantation almost 14 months ago and it’s a good thing they did. I received more inquires for May 1st than any other day this year. A lot of people must have gotten married yesterday. Craig has had a rough couple of years health wise. So yesterday was not only an outward expression of their love for one another but it was also a celebration of life and family and how precious and important both are. I always tell my brides, “The marriage is for you. The wedding is for family.” After a year of my own dad dealing with some pretty serious health issues, I know how important my sister’s upcoming wedding is. Not only because she is going to get married, but because we will all be together celebrating LIFE!
