I love black and white images. I mean I really LOVE them! Don’t get me wrong, it’s not that I don’t like color… it’s just that I like black and white more. And I think this particular wedding may have proved that to myself. What was so great about Elizabeth and Adam’s wedding was that Elizabeth’s own timeless classic style lent itself to my style as an artist. So as I approached choosing these images what stood out to me the most was the emotion of the day.. the anticipation, the joy, the nerves… the parts of the day that can be not be posed or pretended.
Some of my favorite images from the day were actually snagged by my incredible photographers Meggan Goff and Rueben Long. I believe being a great wedding photographer is about sitting in the pocket and waiting for that just perfect moment. And they both have that gift. They’re superbly talented and I’m very grateful to have them on my team.
